Could this be a good place to exhibit?

This is the old “Dalle Valle”. Until fall 2008 the Swedish interior store ROOM was located in these rooms. Now it is empty. Again the rooms are quite big and we would need to limit it. What do you think? Do you have any ideas for exhibition places in Copenhagen?

Double Dutch - appetites & emotions

When we were in London last year at 100% Design we saw this flower show created by the Flower Council of Holland. Appetites by Lisa White and Bouquets of Emotions by Miriam Van der Lubbe & Niels Van Eijk. Apparently it took them two full days, 100 kilos of earth and a small garden of plants and cut flowers to install the Appetites show. There were orchids, rare roses, venus fly traps, black peppers among many others. The wallpaper was the new ‘Sweetpea’ pattern by Cole and Sons, in a provocative black. It was so seductive, decadent and breathtaking.Bouquets of Emotions were five different bouquets representing different emotions: sympathy, love, happiness, anger, and jealousy.

avantGarden

Welcome to the blog of avantGarden.
avantGarden is a group of 9 designers/artists from Denmark. Here you can follow the process from idea to the final exhibition. The blog will be a place where we can discuss and comment on each other’s work and take practical decisions. For us the process is as important and interesting as the final result. Therefore our wish is to show the whole creative work in progress in an open forum. So we will let the ideas and the creativity rage on the blog of avantGarden. Join us!
